Group Fitness Instructor
My name is Jessica Moore, and I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. I have a BS in Health and Physical Education which provided a great foundation for my interest in training. Alongside this degree, I hold a Master of Arts in Educational Studies. I used to be a basketball coach which taught me how to encourage and motivate people to perform. I have provided virtual group training and personal training to individuals at various points in their fitness journey. My training specialties include: HITT & Bodyweight-Only Training.
I grew up as an athlete so I was always involved in fitness. Once I finished playing competitively, my body became something I didn't recognize. I decided that I would take control of my own fitness journey and not have it depend on my sport participation. It took time for me to understand how fitness fit into my life outside of a sport. Thanks to a wonderful support system and an openness to trying new things, I discovered my passion for fitness and training. I still love to play sports and continue to do so, but fitness has now become something that will forever be part of my life.
My hobbies include: boxing, spending time with my family, and traveling. I enjoy helping people and watching them grow to love themselves. Through my own personal experience, I learned that mental health is just as, and often more, important than physical health. Therefore, my goal with training with my clients is to always create a space where everyone can feel successful.
I am so excited to create those spaces for the members of fitmbs®.
