My name is Tanya Johnson, and I am a certified Lifestyle Coach and Personal Trainer with a specialization in Women's Fitness. I have dedicated my career of over 25 years to improve patient health outcomes within the health care industry. I graduated with a BS in Business Management and currently work as an Executive Director for a large organization coaching and developing individuals to perform at their very best while also training and coaching clients of all shapes and sizes on lifestyle changes to meet their health and wellness goals.
I hold multiple certifications from nationally recognized organizations such as the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA).
LIFE is a journey of lessons and experiences. My story may sound familiar to some, foreign to others, but unique to ME. We all have a story as we learn at an early age how to look, feel, act, eat, and many other behavioral lessons that make us who we are today. We then take those lessons learned and incorporate them into our daily lives as we enter adulthood.
If you think about where you were as a child to where we are now, not only have we changed mentally, but the way our bodies function also change with what life throws at us. Time limitations such as balancing family, careers, and personal time can create obstacles to achieving our fitness, health & wellness goals.
From early childhood, weight issues have always been a challenge – the typical rollercoaster many of us go through. In 2018, I embarked on my own personal fitness journey that would change my life. I was a Type 2 diabetic with hypertension issues. We can also tack on peri-menopause to the list of changes. What I didn't expect through this process was that this would be the beginning of my own personal and professional fitness journey to learn about myself, change learned behaviors that didn't work for me anymore, create boundaries, and develop positive lifestyle changes.
With the help of amazing coaches, both mental and physical, I learned how to navigate the complexities of life by developing healthy changes within myself to create a balanced lifestyle. It was not easy and it does take time, but together, I am dedicated to working with you to recognize your obstacles, develop a roadmap of change, take detours if necessary, so that you can focus on the physical & emotional well-being of the most important person in your life - YOU!




LIFE is not easy. When you think you've figured everything out, LIFE throws us a curveball. Growth can be uncomfortable as it is unfamiliar and new to us; however, if we keep pushing through it, it can lead into some amazing experiences.
Do we ever stop growing? The answer is "No", each day brings us new experiences and challenges.
The habits we learn and develop for ourselves make us stronger to deal with those daily challenges and to embrace the beautiful experiences we have the opportunity to experience.

Using my expertise as a professional fitness coach & corporate leader along with going through my own personal fitness journey; my goal is to partner with you on your path to identify obstacles standing in your way of reaching your fitness, health & wellness goals. Together, we will develop new lessons and experiences to sustain a healthy lifestyle from now and into the future.
