Group Fitness Instructor
My name is Heather Black and I am a certified AFAA group fitness instructor, former NCSF Personal Trainer and ISSA Senior Fitness Specialist with over 7 years of experience who specializes in multiple formats including, but not limited to: Spin, TRX, Piyo, Core De Force, R.i.p.p.e.d, Strong Nation, Mat Pilates, Barre and Zumba. I am also a certified Les Mills Instructor across 8 formats. My specialties include Yoga, Pre- & Post-Natal Fitness, and Senior Fitness; however, I also provide high-intensity workouts for adults of all ages.
I began my personal weight-loss lifestyle transformation at 18 years old. I turned my love of fitness into my full-time career in 2014. It was the best decision I've ever made. In 2020, I continued to exercise everyday during my pregnancy which gave me the strength physically, mentally and emotionally to be a strong, first-time mother today.
Exercise has been my foundation of mental and physical health. Nothing makes me more happy than to move daily and inspire others to do the same. From Yoga to Boot Camp style workouts, I am thrilled to share my love of fitness with the fitmbs® community.
In addition to fitness, I volunteer my time in animal rescue facilities. I am an animal lover and advocate.
